Sola is a women-led graphic design studio working at the intersection of culture, art and strategy. We create visual environments and identity to drive projects with transformative stories. From exhibitions and books to brands and institutions, Sola offers a fresh take on creativity to design new futures.
GLOBAL REACH, SITUATED PERSPECTIVE
SOLA began in Bogotá (Colombia) and has since worked globally.
We believe in design as a tool for critical and aesthetic thinking, to build visual languages that are inclusive and sensitive.
Being women, latinas, and feminists leads us to question how our work relates to our environment and society. This has inspired us to approach projects with empathy and transversality, to imagine collectively and create in community.
team
Silvana Perdomo
Designer and illustrator based in Bogotá, Colombia, with over ten years of experience turning ideas into bold visual languages. She sees design as a tool for communication, collaboration, and cultural expression, and has led visual identity projects across both cultural and commercial contexts.
Her work blends strategic thinking with a strong visual instinct, moving naturally between design, illustration, and animation. Silvana especially enjoys collaborative processes, working with teams, shaping ideas together, and translating complex concepts into clear and engaging graphic systems.
Illustration plays a key role in her practice, bringing warmth, character, and narrative depth to her work. By integrating drawing into identities, editorial pieces, and digital formats, she creates visual worlds that feel expressive, flexible, and distinctly human.
Silvia Camargo
Graphic designer with 10 years of experience developing brand identity systems, editorial design, and visual strategies across cultural and institutional contexts. Her work centers on building clear, adaptable frameworks that translate complex ideas into precise visual languages.
She has a strong interest in typography as a powerful and unique element of communication, as well as an expressive resource within visual systems. She maintains a particular commitment to book design, approaching editorial projects as spaces where narrative, rhythm, and material form converge.
Her perspective is shaped by music, art, cinema, contemporary culture, and nature, alongside a strong sensitivity to social contexts and collective narratives.
Her work has been recognized by the Type Directors Club and LAD Awards.
Nathalia Jaramillo
Graphic designer with over ten years of experience specializing in visual identity and graphic systems. Her practice focuses on building powerful visual universes through a distinctive and intuitive approach, where design becomes a space for experimentation, expression, and cultural dialogue.
She describes her work as irreverent, modern, and experimental, often drawing from cultural, social, and artistic references that intersect with digital culture. With a strong sense of empathy toward social contexts, these perspectives frequently shape the conceptual layer of her projects.
Her practice is driven by a curiosity for graphic experimentation, exploring image-making through photography, color, and symbolic or mystical elements. Through this process, she seeks to create visual systems that feel expressive, contemporary, and emotionally resonant.
Her work has been recognized by the Type Directors Club, Communication Arts, and LAD Awards.
