¿Y Ahora qué?

Photobook by Martina Hoyos

This photobook by Martina Hoyos is a visual record of a personal journey through uncertainty, self-discovery, and the search for a sense of peace. Set in Palomino, it brings together images that reflect a period of deep reflection, where the boundaries between survival, identity, and photography began to blur.

Through her camera, Martina explores not only the place around her, but also her own relationship with photography and the possibility of making a life from it. Along the way, she realized that the challenge was not to prove the value of her work, but to find the people who could recognize it—and to learn to trust that value herself.

These images became a way of knowing herself, making sense of uncertainty, and reconnecting with the simple pleasure of looking. Ultimately, the book is a reminder of why she became a photographer in the first place: to notice, to explore, and to find beauty in the everyday.
